Do I have to be an athlete to see Dr. Brown?

We specialize in working with people who have physically active lifestyles, but anyone over the age of 8 can come see us.


Do you take insurance?

No. However, we will provide a statement at the end of each visit that you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. In addition, some laboratory tests that we order may be covered by your insurance company.


Can I use a Health Savings Account?

Most health savings accounts (HSA) recognize the service of naturopathic physicians as eligible expenses. However, please check with you HSA plan to confirm.

 


Do you prescribe medication?

Dr. Brown will prescribe certain medications for you, when necessary. However, Dr. Brown specializes in the following therapies: lifestyle, foods, dietary supplements, nutrient therapies, and natural medicines.


What is a naturopathic physician?

A naturopathic physician (NMD) diagnoses and treats patients using a holistic system of care that combines the health sciences with natural therapies. NMDs complete 4-year, full-time, graduate programs that require didactic and clinical training and are recognized by the United States Department of Education.
